We are seeking a talented Library & Research Services Analyst to serve as a key knowledge resource for attorneys and legal support staff across the firm. This high-visibility, intellectually engaging role combines hands-on legal research with library and resource management, vendor relations, and legal technology advisory, including emerging AI-powered research tools.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct legal research across case law, statutes, regulations, litigation history, and verdicts; monitor court dockets and Courthouse News for client-relevant filings
  • Develop and deliver training on research tools for attorneys and paralegals firmwide, including new hire onboarding and periodic regional office visits
  • Negotiate and manage contracts with Westlaw, LexisNexis, Bloomberg Law, and others; oversee subscriptions, invoices, and library inventory
  • Evaluate and advise on AI-powered legal research tools and train staff on their responsible integration into firm workflows

Qualifications

  • Master's in Library Science and/or JD preferred, or 5+ years of law firm research experience
  • Proficiency with Westlaw, LexisNexis, Bloomberg Law, Law360, PACER, and similar platforms
  • Familiarity with AI legal research tools (CoCounsel experience a plus)
  • Strong communication skills
  • Highly organized and genuinely tech-curious
